Ernst Loosen needs no introduction, but here we go anyway. A world-recognised winemaker, Loosen took over the family wine business having visited and worked for some of the most highly respected wineries throughout the world. It was his belief that before he could make world-class wines, he had to first understand what it is that makes a wine truly great. During this voyage of discovery, Ernst laid the foundations of his own style of winemaking. The central tenets of this style are authenticity of the soil, climate and vines.
