Crown Estates, the leading Hungarian owned producer of Tokaji Aszu forms part of Hungary's national heritage. Aszu wines are made when aided by climatic conditions, botrytis concentrates the grape sugars in the hand picked, raisin-like grapes - Aszu berries. The wine is aged skilfully in cask for a minimum of 3 years. The Puttonyos number, 3 to 6, indicate the amount of Aszu grapes used.
