Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonberg, 2010
The Cannonberg wines are currently made at the Imbuko Farm based in the historic town of Wellington, in the heart of the renowned Cape winelands. We make a Chenin Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon; a percentage of the money made from sales of the Cannonberg wines goes directly to projects within the local community. Philippe & Edward meet with the growers and representatives from the local community throughout the year to discuss how best to use the ongoing funds.
Medium to full bodied. Eucalyptus notes, sweet red berries and hints of mocha develop in the mouth before a long, sweet and ripe finish. To find out about the Cannonberg Project, please click on the tab on the homepage.
