Marcel and Mathieu Lapierre - Organic
Marcel Lapierre is Monsieur Morgon and very much seen as the godfather of Gamay. His estate is situated in the sought after Cote de Py area of Morgon. His wines are au naturel; the wild yeasts are encouraged to do their work in order to fully express the terroir. As well as using exclusively wild yeasts, Marcel Lapierre does not use fining nor sulphur during the vinification of his wines.
Drinking his Gamay is like biting into summer fruits, slightly chilled it will be the perfect accompaniment to Charcuterie.
