Jean Louis Trapet is an old school friend of Didier Delagrange, our Volnay producer. He decided to go down the route of biodynamic winemaking as he always believed that good wines had to be harmonious and well balanced. The use of biodynamic principles allows him to fully but gently express the character of terroir. His philosophy is to accompany nature rather than force it.
His wines are now amongst the most sought after in the Côtes de Nuits following the huge amount of praise he has received on the international wine scene.
Light, fresh, clean and delicious. It combines pretty aromas of cherry and wildflowers and bright, sweet fruit on the palate.
