Based in Fontenay, in the heart of the Fourchaume 1er Cru appelation area, the Fèvre family's involvement in Chablis winemaking can be traced back to 1745. Thanks to this heritage, they have developed a strong arsenal of knowledge and are considered one of the key producers of this fantastic micro terroir.
Although not certified organic, they have a sustainable approach to viticulture and do not use pesticides. Both Nathalie and Gilles are qualified oenologists and have developed biological means to control insects and spiders. Intervention in the vineyard and in the winery is kept to a bare minimum.
Their wines are very expressive of their South West facing terroir; ripe and full and yet expressing the minerality of Chablis.
