Domaine Verdier-Logel
Domaine Verdier-Logel is a leading estate of the small Côtes du Forez appellation. Odile Verdier and her husband Jacky Logel arrived at the domaine in 1992 and immediately began vinifying their own fruit and bottling their own wines too. In 1997 they began to transition their vineyards to organic and gained an additional boost in 2000 when Cotes du Forez was given AOC status.

100% Gamay Saint Romain. With smaller berries than the clones grown in neighbouring Beaujolais, Cotes du Forez wines are more coloured and more peppery. Fantastic served chilled with a little tension from the granite soil coming through nicely.
