Minimal intervention procedures
From the Western Cape in South Africa comes this charming wine that is sure to be a real crowd pleaser. Made following minimal intervention procedures, no pesticides or insecticides are used in the vineyard, with the only really addition being a touch of sulphur added before bottling.
It is produced using two grape varieties, dominated by Roussanne (70%) which is more commonly seen in the Rhone Valley. Backed up by 30% Chardonnay (30%), the resulting wine is soft and medium-bodied with floral notes, ample fruit and a mineral undertone. We believe it to be one of those rare wines that offers both complexity and ample character, while also maintaining its ability to be easy-drinking and fun.
