Chateau Pibran

enviable terroir – 17 hectares – state of art winery

Situated on one of the finest outcrops of gravelly soil in the commune of Pauillac, Chateau Pibran is a satellite project of Jean René Matignon and his team of Château Pichon Longueville.

Pibran was expanded from 10 to 17 hectares in 2001, a move which sparked a marked improvement in the quality of the cuvees produced by Jean René from this site.

A classic Pauillac which certainly does not disappoint!

Its dark ruby colour is accompanied by sweet aromas of cranberry jam, cherries and blackcurrants. Ripe tannin, low acidity and a silky finish results in a seductive Pauillac.
