After changing hands several times, the estate was acquired by Jaime Rodríguez in 1967. In 2010, his children Telmo and Amaia took over, introducing sweeping changes to highlight the estate’s diverse terroirs and revive Rioja’s historical identity. Production was reduced by a third and limited to estate fruit, Garnacha has begun shifting from trellis to bush vines, and mixed field plantings are being reintroduced.
