Château Bouscassé

Owned for generations by the family of the inimitable Alain Brumont, Château Bouscassé has given back to appellations lacking in visibility (Madiran, Pacherenc-du-vic-Bilh) a second life. Taking advantage of the unique typicity of the Château's terroirs, the flagship grape varieties of the South-West (notably Tannat) are magnified here. Between elegance and voluptuousness, the estate thus offers remarkably precise and charming cuvées.

Madiran Vieilles Vignes 2014

Produced from vines that are over 50 years old and from the best terroirs of Bouscassé, the Vieilles Vignes wine asserts itself as the most prestigious of the Château’s range. 100% Tannat, with fine, straight and cleverly-designed structure. Dark garnet hue with violet shades and is impressive with its aromas of black fruit jam combined with the roasted notes from its maturation. The broad and deep palate offers both freshness, fruity aromas and controlled wooded hints.
