Indigenous yeast – manual harvest

Château Continental Platter

Château Continental Platter is a partnership between Les Caves de Pyrène and Australian distributor, Puncheon Bottles. Together with winemaker Patrick Sullivan, they have embarked on a winemaking project with a focus on producing a range of Australian wines from carefully sourced, quality fruit. The wines are all produced after a manual harvest, using indigenous yeast and with no fining or filtration.

The ‘Sac a Main Balinais’ is a light bodied Pinot Noir with aromas of fresh raspberries, wild strawberry and cranberry. Flavours of bright red cherry and ripe raspberry dominate the palate, backed up by refreshing acidity with subtle tannins.
