Domaine de Montille
Domaine de Montille was properly established in 1947 when prominent Dijon lawyer Hubert de Montille inherited 2.5 hectares in Volnay, later adding further parcels in Volnay, Pommard and Puligny. Hubert’s style was famously austere: low alcohol, high tannin and sublime in maturity. His son, Etienne, joined him in 1983, before becoming the senior winemaker, taking sole charge from 1995 and converting the estate to organics, and then to biodynamics in 2005. He also made the house style more generous and open, focusing on the use of whole bunches for the reds.
Beaune 1er Cru Les Sizies 2018
Open and expressive, bursts with aromas of cherries, smoked meats and forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a succulent core of fruit that's framed by supple, powdery tannins.

If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
