2016 was a particularly exceptional vintage and as such, two of the estate’s best plots – Les Petits Macrets and Les Maillons – were blended together to create this wonderful Blanc de Blancs. Elegant and sophisticated on the nose, the palate is initially smoky, evolving to display notes of orange, chocolate, black fruit jelly and cloves. After some time, flavours of the garrigue take hold, with thyme and rosemary coming to the fore, backed up by hints of gingerbread and fresh honey. A wonderfully complex, sophisticated expression of vintage Blanc de Blancs – and fantastically gastronomic.

Just southeast of the Côte des Blancs, the Côte de Sézanne is known for the production of Chardonnay-led Champagnes that display richness, finesse and elegance. The third generation of the Richomme family to be in charge, siblings Florence and Christophe follow a plot-by-plot approach across their 11-hectare estate, vinifying each block of vines separately in order for their wines to express their natural terroir in the best way possible. Their Champagne provides many things that can be hard to find in the region – artisan craftmanship, expression of terroir and value for money.

Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
