Burgundy is in the blood of Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret, whose family have owned vineyards in the Mâcon for generations. However, these previous generations opted to sell their fruit to local cooperatives, rather than make wines for themselves. The Bret brothers broke this tradition in 2000 when they took over the vines and established the Domaine de la Soufrandière. They converted first to organic growing, and then biodynamics, putting focus solely on the natural terroir of Pouilly-Vinzelles, Mâcon-Vinzelles, Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé. In 2001, they set up Bret Brothers, the negociant side of Domaine de la Soufrandière. Here they buy top-quality, organically farmed grapes from 40-year-old vines in small plots in the best sites in the Mâcon, to make exceptional wines with the same level of care and attention to detail as their domaine bottlings.

A round and charming Pouilly-Fuissé. Aromas of pears, honeycomb and orange oil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a textural attack, ripe but succulent acids and a broad finish.

Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).
Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.
