Since the 1980’s Conde Valdemar has been recognised among the key reference points in the Rioja region, regarded for the sheer consistency in quality of their Reserva and Gran Reserva wines. The history of the estate dates back to its inception in 1889. It is now the fifth generation of the Martinez Bujanda family who are custodians of the vineyards, maintaining their close connection with the vineyards in an attempt to disprove the common theory that many Riojas are made in the winery rather than the vineyard. The family have always been at the forefront of innovation in the region, none more so that when they introduced a single-vineyard, barrel-fermented white to the market in 1987. Critics were blown away and, in time, many other wineries adopted this technique for the production of their flagship white wines.

Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
