Sourced from younger vines across some of the region’s finest Grand Cru vineyards, this wine shows a real sense of purpose. Aged for 16 months in barriques, around a third of them new, it’s a Pinot Noir that far exceeds expectations for its level. Aromatically, it’s vibrant and expressive, revealing sweet red cherry and raspberry layered with violets and a gentle hint of spice. Subtle notes of smoke and herbs add complexity, underscored by impressive purity and allure. The palate is seamless and flowing, delivering juicy cherry fruit, finely etched tannins and a refreshing, mouth-watering grip.

Located among the foothills of the Black Forest mountains in the south-west German district of Baden, the Huber Winery produces wines that are among Germany’s finest. The limestone and clay soils of the area give very similar growing conditions to those found in Burgundy, therefore it is no surprise that Pinot Noir thrives in this terroir. Their 27 hectare site is now managed by Julian Huber following the death of his father, Bernhard. During his career, Bernhard was hailed as one of the superstars of German Pinot Noir and, thus far, Julian has managed to live up to his father’s name.

Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).
Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
