Ca’ del Bosco
Ca’ del Bosco’s history began in the mid-1960s when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small house on Erbusco, on a hill also known as “Ca’ del bosc” and surrounded by chestnut forests. Maurizio Zanella, the son of Annamaria, saw in Franciacorta the land that would “produce” the best grapes. And he was not wrong since his winery was the first and best expression of the potential of the region. Maurizio acquired great expertise in sparkling wines next to the best in Champagne. So, when he returned to Franciacorta, he knew very well what to do to create great wines.
Cuvée Prestige Franciacorta NV
75% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Blanc. While Prosecco may be the better known sparkling wine of Italy, Franciacorta is its most serious, and Italy’s answer to Champagne. The Ca’ del Bosco’s Franciacorta is the benchmark of the genre – crisp, clean, and pure, redolent of spring flowers, pears, lemon curd and almond notes.
