Domaine de La Zouina
Located 120 kilometres from Rabat, the region of Meknes is Morocco’s wine capital boasting luscious and fertile land by virtue of its altitude, its amount of sunshine and its mild temperatures.
Gérard Gribelin and Philippe Gervoson fell in love with the soils of the area on a golf trip in 2001. They must have thrown their clubs away and begun work immediately, as by 2002 they had formed a partnership (Volubilia) with Domaine de la Zouina and planted 63 hectares of vines.
The seriousness with which they are approaching the venture indicates a level of understanding of the potential of the region that many are unaware of. Great care is being taken in the vineyards and much effort is dedicated to extracting maximum potential from the estate. Domaine de la Zouina is currently managed by Gérard Gribelin’s son, Christophe, and the vineyard management and winemaking is in the hands of Philippe Lespy, formerly of Domaines Barons de Rothschild.

A nose of white flowers and Pear given by a harvest at full maturity. Several months of barrel ageing assist in delivering hints of vanilla and toast.

Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.
