Casa de Vila Nova
Casa de Vila Nova, owned by the aristocratic Lencastre family, has been in their hands since the 12th century. The historic estate near Penafiel in Portugal’s Vinho Verde region now includes a 1700s house built around an original medieval tower. After planting 12 hectares of vines in the 1970s, the estate was revitalised in 2008 by Bernardo Lencastre and his brothers, who began producing and bottling their own wines. Today, the 42-hectare vineyard benefits from Atlantic-influenced conditions in the Sousa sub-region, ideal for varieties such as Avesso, Loureiro, and Alvarinho.

Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).
Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.
