Castello della Sala is located in the region of Umbria, not far from the Tuscan border and around 20 kilometres from the historic town of Orvieto. A medieval castle towers over the vineyard, which occupies the gently rolling hillside between 220 and 470 metres above sea level. The relative high altitude nature of these vines ensures they provide the perfect fruit for the production of fresh, zesty whites. The vines grow in clay and calcareous based soils, rich in fossil shells, and they are well exposed to the rising of the sun with an excellent difference of temperature between day and night. The resulting wines are complex, elegant and fresh, underpinned by wonderful mineral acidity.

If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
