Tenuta San Leonardo
Tenuta San Leonardo stands on a particular historic site, with the estate mentioned as the location for a royal wedding as far back as 588AD. The first vines were planted here around 1215, when a monastery was established in the area.
Nowadays, the team preside over 25 hectares of vines, situated around 150-200 metres above sea level. Soils are nutrient-poor but have good natural drainage, ensuring the production of clean, concentrated fruit which expresses true varietal flavour as well as capturing the essence of this truly historic terroirs.

The estate’s flagship bottling is made in an unashamedly elegant style, emphasising subtlety over power. Ripe forest fruits and fine tannins are complemented by a complex array of tobacco, spice and herb flavours, whilst the bright acidity brings freshness and vivacity.
Delivery is free for orders over £125.

Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).
Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
